With over 15 years of experience, Steve Johnson is dedicated to keeping seniors and those with disabilities safe and independent in their homes.

Steve’s story

Raised in the Twin Cities and now residing in Plymouth, MN with his wife and two daughters, Steve is dedicated to serving seniors in the Minneapolis, MN area with integrity, courtesy and professionalism.

As a result of a slip and fall accident, Steve lost his own grandmother. This experience helped him realize that simple and inexpensive steps can be taken to drastically improve home safety for older adults in their homes. In an effort to provide safe options to people throughout his community of Minneapolis, MN, Steve started Home Freedom LLC.

In order to maintain a high level of product knowledge and a keen eye for assessing home safety, Steve continues to educate himself. He holds certifications in Living By Design (LBD), Certified Environmental Access Consultant (CEAC), First Aid and CPR.

Our mission

The process of aging or the onset of infirmity can be very difficult for both the elderly and their families. Senior citizens and those with disabilities fear becoming a burden to their families, losing self-sufficiency and being unable to do the things they enjoy and are accustomed to.
